greetings shooters!
I'm trying to recreate an effect that I'm sure you've seen used once or twice.
I think there was a Mick Jagger music video which used this technique and I remember it most used in the film Lock Stock And Two Smokin' Barrels...when (Jason Flemming I think...) loses all the boys' money in the card game...when he loses and walks away from the table...the camera is somehow rigged so that it is firmly attached to his front side...with the subjects head placed perfectly in the center of the frame. When the subject moves, the background moves freely but the camera is locked on the subjects face. It creates a very surreal sort of trippy effect. I am seeking information on what sort of rig is out there which will support an HVX200. Anyone know what this technique or mount/support is called. I would assume that the mount rests on the subjects shoulders and has a support bar which extends from the base of the camera plate to some sort of belt probably around the subjects waist for support.
Any help is of course greatly appreciated.
