Hi!
I'm curious if there are many motorized sliders for sale. Do you know any that can carry a heavy set up yet it's still portable?

Could you be more specific?

How portable?

How much weight?

1. I built one I'd sell, Not sure how much weight it'll support, especially driven since I haven't tried to load up the carriage with weight other than my camera/monitor. But since I am using it this week for the first time in a Looong while I may try it: with weights.

2. Portability. I made mine using a 6ft. piece of 3inch aluminum Stock. It bolts to two light stands.

How far do you need to track? How much do you want to spend? How many axis do you need to move?

As for portability. I've carted my Kessler Cineslider all over the world. I guess that qualifies it s portable....

2 axis.
6 feet (or the size of a skateboard bag so I can put it in a plane).
it needs to hold around 6-7 Kg camera.
No need to move fast.

If you can live with 5ft, a Cineslider with Revolution pan and tilt head is my recommendation. Get the all terrain feet and the Oracle controller and you're good to go.
