Well, you just have to isolate the parts of the image that you want to desaturate with the lasso tool for example. And then you can desaturate only this part. :)
 
I used to get this bike mag from the UK... I think it was called Performance Bikes... anyway... you should submit some photos... that first series is stunning... definitely worth publication.

Makes me miss my R1... but me and bullet bikes have a love hate relationship... I loved to triple the speed limit and they hated to see me in one piece. *sigh* still got my signed pit-pass from Laguna Seca in '98... Foggy signed it.

Those are great shots! I really dig the angles you chose, all very selective and deliberate it seams. I've got to learn my lasso in NX, still trying to figure it out. Oh, my only concern was the vignetting you chose. Doesn't seem to fit the images, kinda draws me to the edges and not the center. Not sure if it works in some of these.

Anyway, great work!

The vignetting... honestly I´m in love with it. :D
I try to use it not too often... or mostly it really doesn´t fit. But then sometimes I´m like "Wow". Then it seems to give the photo much more dynamic.

Maybe it´s question of taste. Especially in TV-car-shows they seem to use them frequently.
