motivational speaker audio

I'm doing a video for a motivational speaker. i'm concerned about continuity of sound. would it be a mistake to use a wireless for all of the audio? even though there will be situations when a boom would work as well?

It may be just me but don't you think a boom may be a little intrusive. I've done plenty of live events with my G2 wireless setup. It works fine as long as you make sure your on a safe channel. Boom doesn't seem like a great option, go with the lav.

You may want to get an ear mic to go with your wireless g2 system. Countryman makse a version of the B6 that booms off the ear. Audio Technica makes a copy.
