Motion's HD Templates...

Does anyone know how to use a Motion HD template in a SD Project? I heard it can be done but don't know how to change the resolution to make it work. I am not set up for HD yet and I have all these templates that are basically a waste if I can't use them. Not sure why Apple did that! I could save some time and continue editing in FCP if I can get by, by using a template instead of creating something from scratch. Worse case scenario I will have to use a template from LiveType.

Just render it out in HD from Motion and then drop and scale in an SD project in FCP. That's the pretty straightforward, simple way.
