I have been trying to smoothcam some footage in Apple Motion.
The smoothing effect is quite good, but there are some quick pans in the clip, and the smoothcam is slowing them down to really gradual - and at the same time pushing about 1/2 the footage out of frame.
I would like to keep the smoothcam effect on the relatively still (but shaky) portions of the clip - but minimize it or greatly reduce it for the quick pans...
Is there a setting I could be keyframing down to minimal amounts or a trick I could be using to have it whip over and then begin smoothing again (without just having a sharp cut from smoothcammed to raw footage for the pan)?
Thanks.
