Motion Question

Hey all. I am finishing up editing on a project and need some help in Motion. I have a timeline in FCP with some shots (about 15 -20) that need a little bit of work in Motion. I have the first shot fixed the way way I want in Motion. My question is, how do I make it so I don't have to make the changes manually everytime I send the clip to Motion? Each clip needs the same thing done to it, so how do I streamline this process and make things easier. I tried making a template, but opening the template isn't an option sending the file from FCP. Sorry is this is dumb or confusing. I am a complete Motion newbie. thanks for any help.

Go into the layers menu and just change out the layer that has the video in it with a new layer with the new clip. The effects and other filters should do the samething with the new footage.

A I recall, you can also create and save (with whatever name you want) a favorite consisting of all the effects and filters applied to a clip. You would then simply apply this favorite to the other clips. This is described in the manual, I believe.
