Hey guys I have a question I would love to see if I could get answered.

In Motion 4 I have a long paragraph of text that types on to the screen. What I want to do is get all of the paragraph bar the last word to fade out. Is there a way to do this? I'm quite stumped.

It may have something to do with Key-Framing?
 
I would look into the text sequence behavior parameters and play around with where it ends. I don't have time to do it myself for you, but....

Couldn't you simply put the last word onto it's own layer and match it position/move to the paragraph? Then you jsut have to time the type on effect appropriately and you're all set.
 
Yeah I have tried this unsuccessfully before but I have been trying to match it by hand. Is there a specific way to match it?
 
Apply your position move, or whatever you have going on to a group of your text layers, rather than the text layer itself? Hard to say without looking at your project. FWIW, I tried fussing with the sequence text behavior, and couldn't make it do what you were asking, so a workaround seems to be in order.
