Motion graphics certifications/classes

Does anyone have any kind of motion graphics certification courses they've enjoyed? In my most recent performance evaluation, my boss said that they'd be able to increase my salary if I can show some credentials for motion graphics to HR and I'm looking for good options. I'm not a newbie by any means, but I am completely self taught, and generally approach a project by having a general idea of what I want to happen, and then figuring out how to verbalize that for a search engine, I don't feel like I actually have a good grasp on fundamental workflows and best practices.

There are great tutorials/courses online (paid ones like from Lynda, Udemy), but the ones that look the best on paper are from big companies, Adobe or Apple (less for motion graphics).

Adobe has authorized partners in various locations...programs in colleges or random people with offices providing training. But I think online training has become so good, especially with live communication to ask questions.

IMO, if you're going to spend any of your own money going somewhere, I would invest in one that looks good on paper too, which may be more difficult to find for C4D, Blender, Maya, etc.

Which software do you primarily use?

Agreed, I think I could get by with just tutorials, 50% of the reason I want to do this is to have something that looks impressive on paper. HR doesn't care about my portfolio.
