Motion/Compressor in Studio 2 WONT start up all the sudden!?

Has anybody ever had an issue where they couldnt get Motion or Compressor to start up!?

I tried sending to motion and exporting with compressor from Final Cut and both options were greyed out in the options drop down from FCP...

Niether program will open from the desktop/finder...

I deleted both Plist files...

restarted a few times...

and...

No response from either program but all other FCS programs start up just fine.

Does anybody have any idea of why this might be?

Any help is much appreciated.

Are you getting the dreaded "Cannot submit job from Batch Window" error message, or will they just not start? I had th"submit" problem with Compressor but fixed it after getting the answer in the Apple support forum. Which version of FCP are you using? If the problem is that they just won't start, then it's more than likely that you'll have to reinstall the suite. The links between programs get messed up, but it's more than just the preferences. There's a specific order in which the programs have to be installed, but you can get that info from the support forums.

I wish I could be more specific. I have the answer if it's a submit problem, but otherwise I'm pretty sure you'll have to reinstall.
