MOTION 3 - creating eHarmony style text animation

I am going to be spoofing an eHarmony commercial. If you ever seen one, when their logo comes up, it assembles it self from tiny little particles. Does anyone know what effect in motion would simulate that?

I plan on taking the text, adding some type of particle plug in, explode the text into particles. Then reversing the footage to make it look like it assembles itself.

Can I do that in Motion 3? Or is there another program I should use for this?

I am sure you could. I am sure most people would suggest After Effects or Apple's Shake though.

I guess you're right. Maybe I should try after effects.
