Looking to really up my game on my next film, and want to work with a top-notch DP, but someone who doesn't have the name recognition of a Wally Pfister or a Roger Deakins. Maybe a semi-pro, someone super talented, but for whatever reason has not had that breakthrough film yet.

Thanks

step 1) go to film festivals
step 2) find an awesomely lit film DP'd by an unknown
step 3) ???
step 4) PROFIT!

(p.s. dunno about deakins, but that's pretty much exactly how wally pfister got his break. nolan was at a festival and saw a movie, said dang that looked really cool, a few years later needed someone to dp Memento and remembered that guy that lit that movie that time...)
