most thought provoking video iv ever accidently found

"Want a perfect world? All you have to do is think its possible and work towards it and it may very well happen."

yeah, last time I did that she slapped me. So I figure I'll try again since I don't like giving up. Well next thing I know she slapped me this time with a restraining order. I said to myself, this is possible because I think it is. Next thing I knew I was sentence to 3 months in prison and that's where I met my boyfriend name Bubba. Reality bites.

My stupid internet connection keeps ending the youtube vids at about 10 seconds.

Dammit... I want a consciousness larger then a golf-ball and my internet provider won't let me have it.

OK... my internet finally played it out.

I've had a little collection of ideas that I think I developed on my own through my years... 1) part of why we are who/what we are as humans, regardless of your take on the origins... is that we have a part of our brain that is fixated on discontentment... for some, it's stronger and pushes exploration, inventions, and every other expression of creativity... forward... which is how we got where we are now... in the technological age of today... 2) there's a part of the brain which releases chemicals when stimulated through communication... so that we experience strong feelings of faith, inspiration, moving emotion, confidence in discovery... etc... depending on the message, and the packaging of that message and how well we open ourselves to hear it... and how our genetics, plus conditioning allows us to perceive it.

Whether or not any of this creates reality... or creates the universe... hmm... I think it's more akin to the commercial where the guy is walking along on the cell phone, smiling... and his optimism is infectious... or to put it as far as possible the opposite... think 3rd reitch (sp?)...

Words stimulate when well organized and delivered... and with a big dose of accumulated knowledge and perhaps a dash of charm... I think the human brain can be played like a cello... and for all the vibration and music... you'd be hard pressed to ever figure out if you're creating music which in turn, is creating a universe... or if you MIGHT be just playing with yourself...?

I do enjoy the music I hear in an intelligent discussion... and I needed this before I go in to work tonight... thanks.

"playing with yourself" means massaging your brain with words... "golf ball sized consciousness" offers an ordinary object (golf ball) mated with an ambiguous concept, "consciousness"... then repetitive phrases that describe this new thing... the golf ball sized consciousness (vs. a larger consciousness)... and pff... before you know it you have a room of people feeling enlightened... but I doubt that contemplating something makes it exist.

I think it's a chemical reaction in the brain that's being coaxed out of people through a form of intellectual hypnosis.

The video keeps saying that our perception of matter is what makes it real... but that's like a kid that thinks he's invisible when he can't see you. I don't think these concepts are as intellectual as they sound.

Just my .02

In the story The Emperor's New Clothes, the ratio of the enamored masses to those who see the obvious is accurate to real life, but the difference is that in reality that ratio never changes.

Rather then package all this as "incomprehensibles"... why not simply ask questions like "what supplies the energy to keep atoms vibrating?"... then he says "we must assume the force behind this is a conscious and intelligent mind"... and while I have no problem with the conclusion... I wouldn't say "we must assume"...

If any of you never knew that there's a vast space between an atom's nucleus and it's surrounding electrons... you should read about it... (google and waste an hour)... the fact is that even the most dense matter is, relatively speaking, an airy sponge so that if you could enlarge the individual atom nuclei to a "golf ball" (to use the video's analogies) then there would be VAST space between each nucleus and the orbiting electrons... but I'd say it's a fallacy to say things like "there's no matter... as such"... it just happens that the guy making that statement is sweeping science under the rug... in favor of poetry.

The speakers in the video are probably in the IQ bracket of about 115-130 (guesstimate)... many people in that range can't resolve the difference in science and philosophy because of their own ego from an above average IQ (people below a 115 IQ can't separate science and philosophy because they're just not smart enough :) ) I would love to hear what a collection 150+ IQ scientists say about this stuff.

At one point in the video a guy says "I can't imagine a world that exists without us..." and that says it all... really.

This video is so on point... how hard is it to believe we really do live in the matrix?

Anyone see that tv series called "the atom"? They basically explain from a scientific point of view how everything we see is just an illusion.

Anyways just my two cents.
