Definitely the zombies!

I ended up showing that to my Image Theory class on a projector screen.

Scared the living crap out of everybody in that room - got a great mark on the presentation, and had lots of fun! Good times, good times...

Re: Most Memorable Threads of 2004

Too many good times. It's like asking what's your favorite movie. You can give a different response depending on your mood. But I think any thread involving manipulated images is a thread worth reading. (Remember the photo of TC found in another members purse? Classic.)

Re: Most Memorable Threads of 2004

LOL Any thread with TC is classic.

I'm so tired and I'm rendering another dolly movie. Then I have to upload.

"Nobody knows the trouble I've seen...."

John, the nice men in the white jackets told you that Raggedy Ann doesn't like it when you do that . . .

:o ::) :D ;)

Re: Most Memorable Threads of 2004

My most memorable thread was back late April, early May... the day I posted...

"Ok, I just found this site and I've been toying with getting the PD170 or the DVX..."

Thanks folks!!

Re: Most Memorable Threads of 2004

My favourites were the newbies..."what is that clunking sound in the camera" and all the hilarious responses.

Re: Most Memorable Threads of 2004

The one I have laughed at the most, hands down, is the Zombie post. ;D ;D I know how bad I jumped, and the four-letter expletive that flew from my mouth...and imagining how many manly men out there got sucked in by that one and screamed like little girls just cracks me up, even now.

;D

Re: Most Memorable Threads of 2004

Ooh, remember that one when someone was new to the board, and they were just saying hello. And we completely ran off with the topic and it had like 5 pages in 2 days.

Good times.

Re: Most Memorable Threads of 2004

My favorites were the ones that involved the infamous "Blacky". That guy was just a ticking timebomb. The one long thread about the music video, where he snapped on pretty well everyone, and the community knocked him right down to size...for an outsider reading... freakin' hilarious.

I also liked the Young_Filmer one about the 28 Days Later Remake where Jimerson basically taught the guy everything to know about filmmaking.

And lastly, the Dvx Logo thread where that guy displayed his business card... it was the most straight forward thread I've ever seen, but somehow that guy fubarred it(though I do think it got back on track, and we have a very nice Christmas logo from it).

Re: Most Memorable Threads of 2004

Most memorable post in the Grabs section has to be On the Water's Edge.

Re: Most Memorable Threads of 2004

I'm very new, so my fav has to go to YOUNG_FILMER and his tyrade of interesting posts. Where did he go anyways?
