Most interesting month of my life

February 28th my truck was Arsoned in front of my house. Truck was totaled along with lighting gear ect.

The next day the Arsonists who apparently go to my high school were dumb enough to brag about it to my friends not knowing it was my truck. My friends called me up and the police were notified. On the seventh day anniversary of the crime they were charged. The one who is over 18 confessed and is going to prison and the juvenile is looking at hard times.

14 days after I am riding "death truck v2.0"

Just thought I would share my adventures these past few weeks.

Loving the new ride. I want one.

Must have better insurance than me. I had a 2000 Ford Explorer-Eddie Bauer Edition (power-everything), totaled on the freeway by a idiot student who was late to class, now driving a '94 Olds Silouette with back end damage and piecing it together weekly.

Nice. Justice was SERVED! Love to hear that. Kid is on the way to a great life behind bars where he belongs.

Yeah Doc I got lucky with insurance. I am the kind of person that cant sleep unless I have full coverage and that incident just reinforced that pet peeve. And Dan once in a while good guys do win.

Lighting gear I am pretty much screwed for. Home owners insurance gave me about $800 for the full contents of my truck (about 2 grand) most of that was lighting gear. I will sue for restorations after the criminal trial is over.

Yeah, civil court is your best bet for the gear. Hopefully their parents have insurance.

But you could always (re)torch your truck for a scene, right?

And if he was a real film maker, he would of shot this at 60 fps with an adapter for that slo-mo feel, grabbed the lighting kit and set it up by himself and directed the FF'ing crew to advance slowly to "experience the moment". If he didn't, well, pssssssh, he didn't have his priorities straight. So disappointed.
