Hi
Already have the Zoom H1 which I mount on camera with a Rode shockmount. Is there something similar for the Zoom H4N?

Rycote put out a new lyre suspension recently designed for hand-holding and shoe-mounting the various small recorders.

Depending on your budget, check out www.norbertusa.com.

Full disclosure, I work at K-Tek, and we make it. There is a full on accessory frame kit, but there are also shoe mount accessories that will allow you to mount all kinds of stuff using the camera's shoe, although I would not recommend using the camera's shoe to mount an H4n due to the the amount of stress the weight will put on the shoe of the camera. Most people that want to mount stuff on their cameras are getting the Norbert accessory frame that has shoe mounts, as well as female 1/4 20 threads and female 3/8 16 threads that allow you to pretty much mount anything you want on there. I like to use our new wiggly arms with the plate to mount the H4n, along with other stuff like monitors, small light panels, and other things.
