most compatible Blu-ray media

I'm looking for good blu-ray media that has high compatibility with set top players. for SD DVDs I used to use verbatim datalife plus. Not only were they compatible but they had great shelf life. So far for blu-ray I've tried Acro Circle because they were cheap and had a decent rating but of course I was having compatibility issues with a blu-ray player off the bat. What do you recommend? Are the verbatim blu-rays top of the line as they were with SD DVDs?

I used to also buy the verbatim DVDs that were silver ink jet printable. I liked the look they had but for blu-rays they only have white ink jet printable. I prefer quality and compatablity offer silver or white but wondering if there are any out there that are still silver inkjet printable.

keep in mind that one disc type that produces very good burns, may still not produce a good burn on your drive.
