I've been looking into editing systems recently; my lack of fades dissolves and color correction becomes a nussance that doesn't even provide for a cool editing style like what happened to Rodriguez in Mariachi. I've been looking into some, but since i'm coming from iMovie and Windows Movie Maker, I'm looking for something somewhat accessible. I've looked into Avid's free DV software, and well, i got very very confused, not to mention it's slow. It then occurred to me that i know nothing about the software at all.
So I figured you guys could help me.
Which would be the best for an HVX or a DVX? I think Vegas seems like a good deal, but that would mean I'd have to get Raylight if i opted for an HVX. does anyone know how well that works?
Thanks.
