More Photoshop fun.......for an audition today

Got hit up to audition for a Nazi later on today for a mid-budget feature. I always try to get critique from people on my PS work, so I can improve, and one of my friends said "OMG! with just some wireframe glasses, some shaving and some minor MU, you would be the spitting image of Himmler!"

So I did some quick research:


Ohhhh, heck, he is right. Disturbing. But as an actor (well, hack would be more appropriate), an intriguing coincidence. Too bad "Valkyrie" is already shot and stuff. LOL, I speak some Deutsche.

The similarity is startling, to say the least. I'd like to make some Gestapo joke, but I can't. Himler was one of the worst people to ever set foot on the face of the Earth.

I like the document graphic though. The only criticism I'd have is that the photo looks a little too clear. It could be a hair softer, less contrast (less deep blacks and whites), a touch more noise perhaps. Otherwise, it looks excellent design wise.

Thanks! The only thing that is me in that document is my head. Everything else is a photo of the real deal as is. I tried to match the grainyness of the body/background with my face. But will adjust that further.

Agreed about Himmler. But as an actor, it IS something I can use, despite my personal feelings. I knew an actor that looked like Saddam, and he made some serious bank.

I once worked crew on a scene of a lynching. I wasn't even one of the actors who were forced to relish the moment and angrily spit out N words and all, before tying up the fellow actor and... Yet when I got home I felt like breaking down and crying and took a long shower.
