Python helped shape my sense of sense of humor and to learn me the "there-are-no-rules" rule.
Needless to say, lifelong fan here.
I'm there.

Oooh, this makes me happy.

Great news. I only wish Gilliam was the director though. I like Terry Jones, but Gilliam was always the greater director of the two.

Looks like they're reuniting for Absolutely Anything, as long as the "thing" of "anything" is not a Python thing:

“It's not a Python film,” Jones told TheWrap. “It's a different thing. It's not really that we're all getting back together.”

And now for something completely different (for them)???

Maybe they just don't want to get everybody's expectations too high?

In case any other fan suddenly realized that they had no idea WHY it's called "Monty Python"... HERE

I love stories like this. I used to watch "Monty Python's Flying Circus" and simply thought "Monty Python" was the guy who created the show. LOL. MPFC would come on before "Dave Allen at Large" and then I'd cap the night off with "Dr. Who" all in one sitting. "Python" would get swapped out for "Faulty Towers" or "Are you Being Served". All great Brit shows.

Excellent.

Best news I\ve heard this morning. I see they're trying to downplay the python thing, but these guys and a script about aliens, has got to be something to look forward to.
