I am shotting mostly weddings and company events, I am thinking to buy a extensible slider, I haven't seen anybody using it with a monopod

Do you think is posible to use it holding with one hand the monopod and the other hand the slider?

The slider is a Proaim Spark 13'' and 23'' (56cm) extend, the monopod is a manfrotto with a 3 mini legs

I know I would not get 100% stability but maybe It could work, I normally shoot alone and guerrilla style so I need little equipment...

I am considering to buy Proaim spark 13'' and try to use to with a monpod or..

Proaim Spark 17'' and use it with a camera tripod

I'd imagine it going something like this... You'd wind up looking for more things to lean the monopod against to create stability, like the side of a church pew, then you'd be leaning your leg against it too to hold it still, and at that point you have to ask what is the point? You've already compromised your shooting spot to find something to help stabilize the monopod, you're going to be contorting yourself to hold the monopod up and won't have a free hand to work the camera. Once the camera is slid to either side of the center of the monopod you're going to be fighting to keep it level, or even just keeping it from falling over. Even the lightest setup will tend to lean.
I just don't see any advantage in weight that would justify all the compromises in balance. In practice you'd probably get a better moving shot without the slider by just attaching only the monopod and holding it off the ground while you move. Kinda like a steadicam type of move using the monopod as weight and counterbalance. Even with practice it won'd be as smooth as a slider or steadicam, but if you're using the monopod for the rest of your shots it's already there.
