mono channel into stereo pair?

Hi,
I filmed a panel in front of an audience and I entered the feed of the table microphones in channel one and the audience sound in channel two.
How do I turn both individual mono channels into two stereo pairs?

You won't be able to create true stereo from a mono source, since you didn't capture true discrete channels while recording. If you do need two channels though, just duplicate each into their own track and pan them left & right.

That, or pan them both dead center and adjust levels accordingly. The stereo buss in FCP will place the mono signals in the stereo output and sound fine. This is how most location audio is utilized anyways, mono signals mixed in stereo.
