Monitoring Solution

Greetings everyone.

I'm putting together a little editing suite (standard def) and was wondering what everyone recommends for video monitoring? I have a Dual Core 2.3 G5 and just ordered a Kona LHe card and Final Cut Studio 2 and now I'm looking for a way to view the material.

Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Jvc monitors seem to be very good value for money. Get a bigger one if you can, it is possible to grade ok on a 14", but a bit squinty...

I know nothing about JVC. I did manage to snag a tenderly-used SONY PVM1354Q for $400 a while back. It's a great monitor and 16:9 switchable.

How much are you looking to spend? That will largely determine both brand & size.
