Monitoring HD with existing tools

Not sure if this is the right place to post this. But Iv had this JVC production monitor and I was wondering if I could focus off of it shooting in 1080/24p with the HVX200a

I kindly doubt it but I would really like to find some use for it.

It appears that if you get the component card you could likely use it with the HVX... I can't imagine going through the composite outputs would offer much help in focusing

that seems like a really good option for monitoring on an HD editing system.
One of the problems is that there are no CRT monitors being made that support HD resolutions.

Ill be shooting a feature with a 35mm adapter and will deffinetly need to monitor focus but dont want to spend allot on a marshal.

for anyone thats interested I just did a series of tests and it is just about perfect for focus. Color is slightly slightly more saturated but almost un-noticeable.
