Monitor For Use With Anamorphic Lens

I hope you guys will humor me with this question, as a lot of searching has only revealed bits and pieces.

From what I've gathered (and experienced with my own Anamorphic Lens), for optimal focus, you need to look beyond the DVX's LCD viewfinder. I've also gathered from a couple posts that any external monitor used has to have at least 350 lines of resolution to be more effective than the DVX's LCD in focusing with the lens.

My questions are these:

1). What is the resolution you really should have in an external monitor for focusing with the Anamorphic Lens?

2). Do any monitors even exist between 9-20 inches that are 16:9 capable and have great enough resolution? A long search of B&H and EVSonline didn't yield me any results. Could anyone provide me with model numbers of monitors they've used that they found help with focus on the Anamorphic Lens?

Thanks so much, finding the right monitor has become very frustrating to me.
