Monitor for Crane

I bought a camera crane so I figured i would use my small DVD play and the 7 inch screen that it has to watch the video. But i can not get any picture?
any idea's or any idea's of a small inexpensive monitor i can buy

You can't get a picture from your dvd player? Hm, it must not have a video in. You could use your laptop if you have one, with a 15 feet firewire cord, and the program DV Rack or ScopeBox (both being highly expensive)

I'll be taking advantage of the 10 day free trial DV Rack gives you for my music video shoot this saturday :happy:
