Monitor Confusion!!!

could some one please help me out on this one. I have a DVX100A with the LEX. I have read post after post on cheaper monitoring solutions, marshall being the best, Marshalls sucking, HD Tv's, CRT Tv's, on camera, off camera, Hi Resolution, Low resolution etc. etc. Could I just run an S video cable to a CRT TV and pull a good focus?? or do I really need to drop a over a grand on a 7 inch LCD. I could buy a 50 inch plasma for my house with that. OR should I just use the Viewfinder?

If you just have a DVX you could be well off with a small resolution monitor. check www.lcd4video.com note: they are cheaper on ebay

yes, try that with a TV. If it doesnt work out for you, then come back and start another monitor solution thread. Oh... and "define pulling a good focus"

I guess it means focusing correctly but it sounds cooler saying "pull". : ) and I will try the TV thing it that does not work I will just have to buy a monitor. thnx for the reply
