Monitor advice needed urgently!

I have about a week before i need to make a final decision on which field monitor to get for the Canon 7D. I have done quite a bit of reading and have nailed it down to the following and would be very grateful for an urgent response.

I have numbered it down to the following ( as stated in a 7D thread, that is not generating a fast enough response )

If you had to choose between

1) Marshall V-LCD70P-HDMI

2) Ikan V-8000HDMI

3) Marshall V-LCD70P-HDA

4) Ikan V5600 ( just cannot find a decent sunhood since varizoon discontinued thier 5.6" sun hood )

does anyone make a decent sunhood for a 5.6 " screen?

Is HDMI worth the price difference if you're only using it as a reference monitor?

Also, Which Battery mount would you recommend for these monitors? I'm looking for the most economically priced battery, or at least one that is easy to find 3rd party.

I appreciate your fast replies. I'm under a time constraint.

Cheers,

-Jon

bump, sorry, really need an answer here folks before i blow a grand.

Thanks.

Hello,
Definitely go with the HDMI version of the Marshall. In all of our testing, it's been a completely solid monitor, with functions that are just non-existant on other monitors in this size and price point.
Plus, the HDMI version still allows for HDA (analog) if you so decide, but the HDA version of the monitor doesn't have the HDMI option, and at very little money more, it's worth it to have the extra versatility.
You can get a solid 7" sunhood from Marshall for it as well, seen here Part #V-H7M. We've had plenty of good feedback on that one.

I recommend going with the Sony L series mount on this. There's a ton of these batteries out there, and even if you're not shooting with Sony, it's cheap and easy to find a set of batteries and a charger to make them a battery system just for this monitor.

Just the post i was looking for, i appreciate you taking your time to comment, thank you random hero :)
