Mole vs Altman 3" Fresnel Lens

I'm looking for advice. I have a Mole Mini 2801 which has a cracked lens. In my search for an inexpensive replacement I found an online company that has an Altman 3" lens for $35. Both are 3" I'm just curious if there is anything else I should be aware of like depth of lens or any weird groves that require an oem part.

If not would anyone know of a place in LA or online that would carry a cheap lens?

Not sure how the lens from a 300 would behave but after my experience with an Altman 650, I would stay away.

Fascinating.. Thanks for the heads up! I'll pass on the Altman and see if I can snag a lens from eBay.

Normal retail on a new replacement lens for that light is around $65
