Goin to Mod Chicago/Kinetic Underground next week and was wondering what else we should do while we're there. Our days are free till around 9 when we go to shows.... Places to eat? Cool Museums??

And we will be located near Clark and North...

Thanks

Chicago's a great food town. Here's a few places that come to mind--

Rosebud on Rush--great traditional Italian food--or go to the The (original) Rosebud on Taylor Street and pretend you're an extra in The Godfather.

Scuzzi--more kickass Italian--this is a fun restaurant downtown

Vong's Thai Kitchen--Takes thai to another level--and great desserts too.

Mr Beef--must have...Italian beef sandwich..mmm

Giordano's (on Rush)--let the pizza wars begin, but Giordano's stuffed pizza is heavenly.

Fireplace Inn (on Wells)--some of the best ribs around town.

Wishbone--nice place to hang, bar-b-que and southern food

Hopleaf (on Clark) -hundred of beers--many hours spent here.

Ben Po--upscale Chinese and totally worth it.

Greek Islands--fantastic fun (and cheap) place in Greek Town--order some flaming saganaki and a bottle of Retsina.

Other stuff--

Hang out in Millenium Park

Walk down Michigan Avenue

Go to the MCA (Museum of Contemoporary Art)

Shedd Aquarium

Art Institute

Field Museum, Museum of Science and Industry.

I'll think of more.

Scuzzi's IS a great and fun place. Check out Navy Pier too. Ride the big ferris wheel if you've never been there. Chicago is a great place this time of year. Thousands of great restaurants and bars and shops and beaches and...
