Hello everybodyone, :)

I have always been curious about chocolate. Chocolate gels of course. I have heard that they don't warm or cool the light source, but brighten the lit object/person/ect... and richen it up. I am not sure how it looks and how effective they are. What are your thoughts and experiences with chocolate(gels). How can they effectively be used to add to a shot? I haven't been able to do tests lately as cash is running a bit low, so I come to my fellow DVXer's for advice and testimonies. Thanks a lot.

hmm, well, I ahven't used chocolate, but I have used tobacco when lighting a black dude before. i liked it. he had kind of ruddy skin so the tobacco helped that a little. another nice gel is called 'cosmetic' kind of does the same thing but for white folks.
