Mmmm. Outdoor location goodness.

Awesome set! The horses leave some strange tracks though. :)

Do you know if the aged wood effect is paint or has it been treated somehow? That cladding looks like it's seen decades of sun.

Wow!

I would have loved to live there for a few months when I was younger. A definte one-up on a yurt! Not quite as good as Mesa Verde though. :)

How much?

LOL, confidential.....right now. But it will blow away So Cal prices. They told me what they normally rent it, and I immediately said "Okay we can raise the rates and still be way under the sets here in So Cal."

Plus I am developing a sliding scale..........I don't want to price indie's and student films out of the market. I just want to see good films using these locations.

Wait until I share the other "sets" they have.......Afghan village, lakeside, desert, mountain.....

All in our control.......no permits needed

It has. And proud to be named "Marketing Director" for them. This place has some serious history in the film industry. Many westerns were shot here, and the caretaker is a fastdraw expert that has taught many of the Western greats.

All I can say right now is his handle is "Latigo".....

Must feel weird with all the irons you've got in the fire now, not even two months after you were in despair. Glad it's turned around for you.

That's my life. Weird as hell. One day I am scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to figure out where my next meal is coming from the next.....this.

But part of me remembers, that's the life in this biz. And can't say it won't come around again full circle. Gonna make the most of this.

Keep working hard, accumulating skills and contacts and you should keep bouncing back. Should hit that guy up for fast draw lessons. Wasn't there a gunslinger by the name of doc?

Doc Holliday?

LOL, now sporting a handlebar like I used too. Very similar to Val Kilmer's representation of Doc Holliday. Goatee a bit wider though.

Hey, can't be unhappy when you sport unusual facial hair. I have mutton chops not dissimilar to my avatar. Sometimes 'burns are not enough. The maintenance sucks and the ladies keep their distance but it puts a smile on my face. Was going for something like out of the period dramas and pirate movies, turned out more 70s unwashed roadie. Oh well, I do drum (grew them for the band for my 'personality', the alternative was to buy a distinctive hat!). Unfortunately you can't grow them as awesome as the stick on ones! At least not without product. Saw some true insanity when they covered the beard growing championships for their oddspot piece on the news a few weeks ago.

Hmm. People are not going to be expecting to end up in facial hair discussion when they click on this thread...
