Now, I know a lot of people love the MKH 416 as a shotgun mic, but has anyone had any experience using the MKH 406 cardioid? Is it any good? How does it compare to the MKH 40?
very nice mics , didn't actually worked with for about 20 years , but remember as ones with a very good sound , we had the t version ( in the army), so i ran them directly to nagra 4.2
