Mixing Tungsten and Floro's

If I need to light up a large area, should I use say a 1 or 2k Tungsten type light? This would be for the background then in the foreground like the artist (music video) with some Floro lights like Kino Flos or those Cool Lights? Will the 2 temperatures in lights screw things up?

One scene will be outdoors either in an Alley way or in a large parking lot and I would need to have a large area lit up.

Of course there are other considerations. Is this scene at night or in the day. If in the day, your 2K tungsten might not cut it. You would need an HMI during the day.

I can't speak for other fluorescent choices but if you choose Cool Lights, you have a choice between 3200K and 5600K bulbs. In this case, you would want 3200K bulbs to match your background tungstens. 5600K if your matching HMI's during the day.
