mixing Super-8 with 24PA footage?

Most of my project has been shot using the DVX100a with 24PAdvanced settings. I'm editing in a 24fps seq. I've digitized my super-8 footage which has been transferred to DV but i'm getting interlacing issues. Any suggestions on how the Super-8 footage should be imported and can i use the two different formats in the same sequence?

When you transfered your Super8 footage, if you did so into an interlaced format, such as NTSC or PAL, it will display interlacing in a 24p project. You need to de-interlace the Super8 footage and create new 24p clips, which will work in your timeline.
