I have a SD underwater Lipstick camera (Broadcast quality) that I would like to continue using now that I have upgraded my DVX100 to a HPX172 (PAL).
My question is, if my new footage is 1080 50I/25P would it be better to uprez my SD footage using InsatantHD or use PIP at 720 x 526 (PAL).
For underwater footage most people would expect some drop in picture quality.
But I was hoping someone may have a way of maintaining as high a quality as possible.
PS It is a shame that the new HPX172 does not act as a VCR for SD as I now have to take two camera's!
