Mixing projects in DVD Architect

Anyone know if you can burn a DVD with a mix of different formats i.e. some chapters are 29.97, some 24p, some widescreen, and others 4:3 etc...?

If so which template would I use or what steps should I take to compete this?

I want to burn some stuff to DVD for a quick demo reel, but I realize that my work is across many different frame rates and aspect ratios.

If you make a 4:3 DVD project, you should be able to drop everything into it.

The widescreen stuff won't be anamorphic, but it should still be letterboxed, and that's probably good enough for a demo, right?

Now, everything will be 29.976, but that shouldn't matter -- your 24p stuff should retain the same look.

Actually, if you have a 29.976fps clip, and a 23.98fps clip, they can reside in the same disc, and your 24p clip will still be 24p. There is no setting for a 24p disc, it all depends on how you bring your mpegs in and what they were encoded in.

ahh yes, if you have DVD architect do the transcoding. but if you bring in pre transcoded files, say from Vegas, one being an interlaced mpeg and the other a 24p mpeg, it will retain the original frame rates and will not transcode these.

Interesting. I must say, I haven't thought about it much, but I don't immediately see why that wouldn't be the case. Everything worked out for TuffGong, so mission accomplished, anyway . . . .
