Mixing multiple video layers

I recently filmed a concert with three camera's and an audio setup. The three angles are synced with the audio in Premiere - stacked one atop another. I would like to switch from angle to angle depending on which is the best.

Can someone please reccomend an effective method? I am considering chopping the audio layers up and distributing them across as many new as neccessary. Is this the right direction?

Much appreciated

You could consider using Multicam mode ( read the manual for more info)

I woudnt chop up the audio in the manner you are suggesting.

Hmmm... i never tried multicam mode. I should look into this. Before I edited two cameras using one audio. I just deleted one of the audios and kept the best one. I chopped up the videos and selected the best scenes.

Assuming that your footage is uncut, synced exactly , and have a solid audio channel, multi-cam would work wonders for you.

You could use different sound layers at anytime if thats the effect you want, but a consistent sound level is gonna be harder to maintain from different audio sources.

Further-more, Multi-cam mode uses only channel 1 ( I may be wrong or have'nt figure that one out) and can be used to switch between camera 1, 2, and 3.
