mixing mini DV and HDV in vegas 6d

I have some mini DV footage (4:3 and 60i) that I want to mix with some 720p (30fps). When I open Vegas, for the project settings should I use 720p?

Delivery will be SD DVD.

I'd say not. Use a standard project. The HD stuff will still be HD, and there won't be any downconversion until you render, so you still get all the advantages of your HD footage until then, like being able to zoom in, etc.. If you use an HD project setting, you lose some this flexibility.

But then, you can always freely switch between project settings, so see which one works for your project better.
