Hello to all the helpful souls out there, I have a small problem: footage was done with 2 cams : GH1 in 720 p and HVX ( stupidly) in DVCPRO 576i Pal Squeeze mode( 1024x576)
When I create a timeline based on the transcoded Prores footage from GH1 (1280x720) and add the DVCPRO stuff I get weird artifacts on the right edge ( sort of repeated mirror effects of the right side of the image) If I use scale-crop and distort, I can sort of adjust the 576i-image with the center cross hair but of course the scale is cropping A LOT and I constantly have to re-adjust.
Would it be possible to do this painlessly in FCP or is another option to play out the footage from the cam into another cam recording in a better format?
Any tips would be highly appreciated!!!

thats what Im doing now....strangely I have to move the center of each clip to the right but it starts looking ok ´ ish
