Now that we have recieved our HVX200 we've been trying to find the easiest way to edit the movie we are producing and with all of the different kind of ways to shoot 24p and different pulldowns etc. a few questions have surfaced. Editing in FCP 5 what is the best way to mix footage shot in 24pN on the HVX with 16mm film footage transfered to DVCAM @ 29.97 and also some 24p footage shot with the DVX with 2:3 pulldown. I've read about the Natress conversions etc. but I just cant get a real handle on this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
