I never use any other tapes except the Panasonic MQ series in my DVX100. I've always heard that it is not good to mix different brand tapes with the camera. I was just wondering if this is also true with a playback deck not used for recording but just feeding an NLE. I have several Sony tapes from someone else that I need to digitize which is a brand I never use. Thanks for any advice.
