Mixing camcorders footage....

I need to mix the output from a DVX with that of a Panasonic NVG250 (a 3ccd camcorder). I know that there will be a different 'look' but I'm trying to minimize it as much as possible so it doesn't 'jar' if you see what I mean!

Can anyone offer any advice? I'm using FCP5 by the way.
