Mixing AVCHD Lite with HDV MPEG-2

We bought several Panasonic FZ35's for use as in-car cameras as well as 'just in case' cameras for track days and misc shooting; always good to have a few extra view points in the event something dramatic happens. i bought them as i consider them to be disposable, and i cannot use CMOS for about 90% of what i shoot.

The camera's are just little point and shoots; as such the audio wont be used in any way, but they are single chip CCD cameras, and they record AVCHD Lite in 30p 720p, they offer manual focus and continuous automatic focus, and you can also zoom in and out while recording video. as such, they would be far more useful and easier to use for POV and 'end of track' cameras as well as for random scenes etc. its far easier to hand out a p&s to nearly everyone on the shoot or near the track than to try to get both cam crews set up perfectly, and if ive learned one thing, you never know whats going to happen or who is going to be in just the right spot.

Just wanted a heads up if there are any weird issues or known problems using both AVCHD Lite and HDV MPEG-2 codecs with CS4 premiere pro. We are editing on a win7 64bit platform with gobs of ram and plenty of processing power as well as a more than adequate graphics setup. i havent come across anything specific, but sunday is our first shoot where we will be using them for POV cams; most of the content will end up as SD, and we're hoping to sell some of the finished HD product as well, but it is unlikely anything but the footage from the XH-A1 and XH-G1 we rented will be used unless there is a particularly good shot, aside from the POV scenes. im also going to disassemble two of them and rig up a much better wired mic instead of using the built-in tinny stereo mic, for in-car audio. probably wont be pretty.
