Mixing Anamorphic with Super16mm

I'm going to shoot a documentary using my Eclair NPR S16mm camera using 7279, but I'm trying to figure out a workaround for shooting long interviews. I love the ability to have conversations with interviewees that DV allows, but need the widescreen, color, and latitude of film for the pretty stuff.

So, would it be REALLY obvious if I shot my scenics and b-roll with the Eclair and mixed in DVX interview footage using the anamorphic adapter (Panasonic)? I'm going to telecine all the 16mm stuff and cut with FCP 4.0 anyway, so I'm wondering more about the optical quality of the Pana-Ana. The program is going to be made for digital TV and DVD, so I need the 16x9 aspect ratio.

Interested in everyone's responses...
