ok i just got my second dvx-100a
i'm really thinking i want to forgo the anamorphic on this one.
please correct me if i'm wrong, BUT i know that the squeeze mode has some very minor defects, i never noticed myself until i saw the blow-ups of squeeze mode on barry's excellent dvd.
so would it be much less noticeable if i used the anamorphic dvx for the close-ups and tried to use the non-anamorphic which will be in squeeze pretty much all the time for wider shots?
my theory is that by doing this any defects or lesser quality from the squeeze will be far less noticeable if it isn't used for close up?
i figure i spent enough on the anamorphic compatible chrosziel and the chrosziel follow-focus that i can short-cut a little bit by using squeeze on the second dvx and getting a somewhat less expensive chrosziel 440-01
