Dear All,
I am working on a documentary and I have a question about editing. I will be mixing 24P (regular NOT advanced) and 60I footage.
I just switched from FCP to Vegas 9 and wonder what the suggestions are as far as time line. Should I edit on a 29.97 timeline or a 23.97 timeline?
If 24p, what are the best settings/way for converting 60i to 24p? Or should I just stick with the 29.97 settings?
The 60i was shot with a 1CCD camera and the 24P with the DVX100B if that helps. I am trying to find the best overall quality as the editing will be basic. Most of the 60i is interview footage so it doesn't have a lot of motion, or does that even matter when converting to 24p?
I know it is best not to mix, but that is the card I have been dealt.
Thanks in advance, Jay
