Mixing 24p & 60I in Timeline & rendering -- is this possible?

Hi

%80 of my footage is in 24p and the rest in 60I.
I like to know if it is possible to mix the two in the time-line?
If so ? how would I render the final footage? What settings?
I understand the capture setting fro eacgh of these are different.

If there is an old thread please lead me to it

as long as it is 24p standard (not advanced) then you are fine editing both on a 29.97 timeline

But when you do the rendering you have to select either 24 or else?

If you shot 24p and 60i then both can cut at 29.97 and render at 29.97. 24p is meant to be digitized and cut at 29.97 but have a filmic look. 24pA is what you shoot at if you're going to edit at 23.98.

Well - yes... unless you want to keep the Advanced pulldown cadence intact and just edit with the two interlaced (combined) frames still in there.
