Mix Offline RT with Regular DV footage

Is it ok to mix offline RT footage into regular DV footage in the timeline? My problem is I don't have enough storage space, and am trying to think ahead where my editor might want to use a take that I've already downrezed to offline RT. I figure it would be more convenient for him to see the footage in offline RT than not at all in offline. Straightforward to make everything online in the future? Any advice most appreciated.
