Dude, did you go to the Ashes & Snow Exhibit?
Man, I so wanted to go to that. I didn't find out about it until it was almost over. Did you go? Was it as good as I heard?

So, you wanna kill a thread, eh? Easy. Just start talking about politics and a lock will be slapped on it.

I so went to Ashes & Snow. As an artist, I loved it. As a right wing Republican war monger, it left me a little queezy.

Was that enough politics? SLAM THE DOOR ALREADY!!!

I think I'm okay now... the Doctor changed my medicine, then mentioned something about a time machine, and then my DVX started talking to me... I'm sure that I am back to normal now! :)

Speaking of which... Where did they come up with the name "Spooky Tooth" for the band?
They had some great songs:
Evil Woman (not to be confused with a different song by ELO. This is the same one that Canned Heat recorded.)
I Am the Walrus (excellent cover of a Beatle song.)
Better By You, Better Than Me (from Spooky Two)

The band also spawned Gary Wright "the Dream Weaver"

This thread has revealed a few things:

1. I'm not a girly guy
2. Mattebox worn as a skirt is sexy
3. A few members live in a world all their own and should be committed

no Charli we're altogether here waiting for you to join us....woowoooowoowowoooohahahahahaahhohohohohhoooo

Well techincally Speaking Charli, we all do indeed live inside our heads.

You may be well aware of "Cogito, ergo sum"[1] or

"I am thinking, therefore I Exist" first described by Rene Descartes.

Now scientifically speaking let us imagine that the we have a Green box in front of us, and that it makes ringing sound.

We can feel this box with our hands.
We can smell this box with our nose.
We can see this box with our eyes.
We can hear this box with our ears.

Now imagine that one by one, our senses dissapears.

first our sense of smell goes away, we can no longer smell the box, then our sense of vision and so on,

finally when all our senses are gone, we can no longer register that the Box is there, does that mean that the box does not exist anymore?

of course not it just means that we are unable to detect it.

What if there is an object that exists and that requires a different set of sense, does this mean that box now does not exist, because we are unable to detect it?

Next rememeber all vision sound, touch, smell is end up becoming nothing more than eletrons, so you never actually smell, see, touch, hear at all, these are nothing more then neurons firing inside your head.
